In my case, I found the illustrated version of the Wastelands used in a bookstore for cheap. I had started the paperback version of Gunslinger last year (I think I only got up to the Waystation and I quit). Then I saw the Wastelands and it re-kindled my interest because I had no idea there were illustrated versions.

When I got home I could not find my paperback copy of the Gunslinger, so on my next trip to my local library, I saws they had all the illustrated versions of the Dark Tower books including the Re-vised Gunslinger. So I rented Gunslinger and now I've rented Drawing of Three.

In this economy the library is my new best friend.Smile

By the way I just finished the Re-shuffle chapters last night. Which kept me up till midnight. Great stuff.
