Catherine Zeta Jones is almost 40. Eretria is supposed to be early to mid twenties I think.

megan fox definitely has the look, but she would probably overdo the sluttiness of the character and ruin her as a character in general. also, she has to appear tough in a few of the scenes and i dont think meghan fox can pull that off

Maybe she could play Eretira in Wishsong. She'd be about the right age for that. |

Hi,
just saw her on TV- that s what Eretria could look like, cause she is descibed as tanned. Just for some speculation She is called Jo Ann Strauss, a southafrican TV-Master.

Megan Fox would be awesome as Eretria. Simple as that.

Side note... how about Emma Watson as Amberle?
Emma and Megan in the same movie? They'd kick me out for touching myself!

The only problem that I see with that is that by the time they get around to making a Shannara movie, Emma Watson will be a middle-aged woman with children too old to even play the part!

I don't doubt Emma Watson would make a decent Amberle, however I wouldn't want her cast in a shannara film simply because I wouldn't want shannara associated with harry potter in any way.

Man I hope they just take their time and find unknowns for all of the parts.
Fox is hot sure but I have never seen her in a part where she could actually act. This chick reminds me of her but I think is way hotter and is a talented actress. (Still couldn't see her as Eretria: I always thought of her as alluring and curvy.) SPOILER

When Megan Fox learns how to act, I might consider her an option for Eretria. As it stands, Kristin Stewart would do as good a job as Ms. Fox.
Woodsy, I could see that actress possibly playing Brin. ![]() |

I'd pick Emmy Rossum over Megan Fox any day of the week.

Megan Fox is terrible actress so, if the vast majority of us hate Eretria(I do not), then sure--let's cast Megan Fox.

Kate Beckinsale would be a great Night Shade or Cathrine Zeta-Jones
